A ride down to the Park of Maasai Lodge

This turned out to be one of the most interesting drives off town, a view away from Nairobi down to the lodges of an interestingly placed restaurant in the Nairobi National Park.

This turned out to be one of the most interesting drives off town, a view away from Nairobi down to the lodges of an interestingly placed restaurant in the Nairobi National Park. The view gave us a first impression of an unknown path that gives you the urge to dive into the land’s outpouring scenes and sites.

Straight to the reception, we head down to where the magic begins with a beautiful view of what the landscaper envisioned to be a step at a time of life’s own serenity. With no further thoughts, our eyes get to have the right bearing of what we deserve, ears could only hear sounds of the gods and with no doubt, the mouths munched rhythmically on fresh drips of game meat.

Down to the valley set up, an ambience of wild African seating with an amazing stage view of rangers riding in for country sounds and dances.

The list of performance lineup is then curtain-raised by Sammy Jones who is later backed up by Savannah and Njeri, amazing little voices of the R&B melodies of country. Right about now the crowd gets to fill in the spaces of Ankara made pallets and hay stacks well stationed to hold whiskey and wine bottles for a sunset view.

We then get to hear echoes of our very own Mc Gustavo filling up the crowd with a high vibrant of laughter. He rumbles up the crowd with an amazing introduction of Let’s Go Country in the park. A movement like no other. The crowd is now eager and set to experience this electric feel.

As the Karaoke team prepares to break voices, a very lovely charming lady; Ythera, gets on stage, dressed up for the night. She takes on the key note of country music from the deep land kikuyu culture.

An authentic classic performance. Hats off to the one and only legendary cowboy; Sir Elvis, getting up the stage dressed in his black country apparel shirt with a white hardboard country hat ready to take on the stage. A moment we all waited for. The voice of country. Right on stage, a sweet brown pretty lady, Jiana joins Sir Elvis on stage and takes on a high spirit with The Caravan band, an amazing pop duo performance. In a back-to-back performance, the Maasai dancers enriched the night with Maasai dances and messages from the gods.

Within the moment of taking a breath, DJ Rom Ace hits off with a mix of country music to welcome the ever creative hype of Acro dancers. Drum rolls to the climax of the party. It’s the wild season of the night, we move closer to our sponsors of the day, Finso Africa, Simple Tours and shuffle game where the winner gets a weekend gateaway to one of the hotels in the lineup.

This then covers a major part of our reason. Entertainment beyond hotel and tourism in business. More woods to the fire, Sir Elvis, Jiana and Ythera wrap up the day with a highlighted performance. A suspense of what next. We felt the breeze of eternity.
